Thoughts on 2014 Rock On The Range Line Up

WHAT’S UP NATION?! Here it is, the line up for this year’s ROCK ON THE RANGE ROTRAnd what are my thoughts about this year’s line up? Man it sucks I just moved to Florida because there is going to be a concert so big no ordinary venue can contain it. For those of you who may not know Rock On The Range it’s a three day long event that takes place in a STADIUM! Do you know how rare it is for a concert to be held in one of those? I wish so bad I could be there covering it, giving you all the lowdown of the show, what the bands think, and how the crowd feels. It looks like such a good time just look at this line up… First we have Guns & Roses; while it might not be the original line up, it’s still the same songs we have enjoyed for decades. Next up we have Avenged Sevenfold. I have seen this band twice and they always put on a great show; with the success of they’re newest album “Hail To The King” it’s sure to be even bigger than the last time I saw them. Last but not least we have Kid Rock. This man has done music from Rock and Punk to Country and Hip Hop. He brings a lot of versatility with him for this concert and giving you an idea of what a character this man is. He recently did an arena tour where tickets were just $20 and it was a huge success.

Now, a headliner is nothing without an opening act and they have some killer ones this year. We have Five Finger Death Punch following up from they’re spectacular performance at last year’s Mayhem Festival. Next up we have thrash legends SLAYER who still manage to find away to melt faces after all these years. Next we have Staind, who after a 2 year long hiatus are back in full force. Last but not least we have icons from the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, MOTORHEAD. I have seen all four of those bands live and they never fail to put on a good show; they even have some incredible bands that you maybe never heard of before. They have some of the most underrated bands ever like FOZZY, Texas Hippie Coalition, ¬†and Gojira . Hot Up-In-Coming bands like Butcher Babies, Monster Truck, and Twelve Foot Ninja. Even some over seas talent with the likes of One Ok Rock, Truckfighters, and Heaven’s Basement. Your sure to sing, scream, mosh, dance, and even laugh. That’s not all folks, they are bringing back the “Rock On The Ranger Comedy Tent” with JIM BREUER The Metal Impressionist.

See what I mean about moving back to Florida? I sadly can not make it to this extraordinary collection of music talent. However I hope those of you who do make it will share your experience with all the others. If your interested in going and live in the Columbus Ohio area or have the means to travel, tickets are still available, just click¬†here. For those looking for a more relaxing and comfortable experience they have Hotel & VIP packages for sale or if you can’t afford everything all at once they offer a layaway plan to lighten the load on your wallet. This has all the ingredients to be the musical experience of a life time.
